2017 Recital DVDs that were preordered will be available for pickup in the office starting Monday. If you did not preorder but still wish to purchase we have some copies available to be sold in the office for $45 cash or cheque only please.
Used Shoes and Dancewear Sale
To help our families minimize the cost of dancewear and shoes, we will be hosting a used sale during the month of September. If you have items you wish to sell please bring them to the office in a ziplock bag with your family name and the size of item listed on piece of paper inside. We will price the items for you.
Sale Times: Items may be purchased during our regular office hours Monday to Friday 5-8pm and Saturday 9am-12pm.
Proceeds: Any sales collected will be distributed to families in October.
As a new season begins, PLEASE label your dance wear, shoes and water bottles as that is the only way we can help return items to families!
Come join us this summer and get your sweat on with our Sweet Summer Heat classes.
Enjoy Acro, Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary classes for dancers who have completed Level 2 to Advanced. Whether you are in recreational or competitive dance, these classes will train your skills, train your mind and keep you strong over the summer!
Competitive dancers should attend a minimum of 4 classes.

Join us for four action packed weeks of dance, learning and fun! Dancers will take daily dance classes including: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Acro and Hip-Hop. Camp activities and crafts will be related to the theme of each week, and dancers will work towards a showcase presentation for friends and family every Friday at 3:30pm.

PACKAGES MUST BE PRE-ORDERED! PRICE PER PACKAGE: $22.60 (includes HST) Discounts for orders over 5 packages. You can pre-order your packages online up until one day prior to your photoshoot.

*Please arrive ten minutes before your schedule time as we often run ahead of schedule!
Boys: Please have hair styled nicely with gel
Girls: Please have a “Ballet Bun” done with hair pins and hair nets. Pony tails should be made off the line of the dancer’s cheekbone. Hair should be sprayed or gelled down to keep hair tidy and secure. If you need a demonstration, please speak to your child’s teacher or Miss Rhonda in the office.
(If your dancer’s hair is too short please pull it back nicely into half up style)
For Girls Dancers:
- Black Mascara
- Eyeshadow (browns)
- Warm Burgundy Lipstick (not brown tone)
- Blush on cheekbone (red/pink)
- Black Eyeliner on top lid (older/comp dancers)
- False eyelashes Junior-Senior Comp Dancers
- False eyelashes are optional for Grade 4 and higher recreational dancers

Rehearsal Schedule at STUDIO
Please check to determine which ACT and show your child will be performing in. You are welcome to leave your dancer at the studio to watch this rehearsal. Once your dancer has performed their number(s) they are free to leave. Reminder that there is no eating or drinking in your costume. No makeup is required for these rehearsals. No competitive costumes are required for these rehearsals.
- Wed May 31st – Act 1 (Show 1 and 2) in Costume 5:00 – 8:30pm
- Thurs June 1st – Act 2 (Show 1 and 2) in Costume 5:00 – 8:30pm
***Please note that Recital Show Order is subject to change. Changes will only occur to numbers within either Act 1 or Act 2 and will be communicated to any effected classes by Monday.

Purchase your recital tickets ahead to avoid disappointment! Cash or cheque only. Reserved Seating.
Location: Humanities Theatre at The University of Waterloo
Show 1: Saturday June 3rd at 3:00pm
Show 2: Sunday June 4th at 1:00pm
*Classes performing in one show only will be listed in either SHOW 1 or SHOW 2 in attached “Show 1 and 2 Recital Classes”. If your dancers class is not listed, you can assume they are performing in both shows.
Ticket Prices Adults: $29 12 and Under: $23
(HST and 10% Theatre handling fee included in all tickets).
TICKET PURCHASES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. ** Children 12 months and older require a ticket. We encourage you to purchase tickets for your younger dancers to watch when they are not dancing.
*Tickets will be available for purchase through the Humanities Theatre closer to the performance dates and on the day of the performance.
