We were excited to hear the Premier announce on June 9th that summer day camps in Ontario are permitted to move forward. To ensure our understanding of the announcement we reached out to, and received confirmation from the Region of Waterloo Public Health and Emergency Services. We will be operating in strict compliance with the documents referenced in the Premier’s announcement, “COVID-19: Precautions When Working in Day Camps” and “COVID-19 Guidance: Summer Day Camps” and any other documents yet to be provided by governing bodies and/or public health.
Our beautiful spacious studio allows for:
- Separate dance and activity areas for groups (cohorts)
- Separate bathrooms for each group
- Separate snack/lunch areas for each group
LIMITED SPACES – The number of campers registered will be limited in order to adhere to physical distancing requirements.
Morée will have the necessary procedures and protocols in place to ensure the safety of our campers and staff, which will include extensive cleaning requirements. Please contact us for any additional information.
Summer Dance Camps
Join us for four action packed weeks of dance, learning and fun! Dancers will take daily dance classes including: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Acro and Hip-Hop. Camp activities and crafts will be related to the theme of each week, and dancers will work towards a showcase presentation for friends and family every Friday at 3:30pm.
Week 1: Moree Mermania: July 13th – 17th
Come join us as we explore a mystical world in the lagoon with magical mermaids and mermen, underwater creatures and deep-sea adventures! Pack your swimsuit for the Waterloo Park Splash Pad.
Week 2: Moree Plugged In: July 20th – 24th
This wacky week of dance and music will feature your favourite video games, YouTube and entertainment stars!
Week 3: Best of Broadway: August 10th – 14th
Enjoy a fun filled week of singing, acting and dancing along to many Broadway Musical hits, as we rehearse and produce our own Broadway Show!
Week 4: Olympic Skills Intensive: August 24th – 28th
Skills Week is an amazing training week at Morée! This is mandatory for our competitive students and open to all advanced and competitive students from around the region. This challenging skill-based week is dance intensive, including both physical conditioning and goal setting for our dance season! On Friday after the team audition and pizza lunch, we will host our own Olympic Games!
